“Alright. Here’s my best shot at explaining this dream. We need a
professional theatre that works like a teaching hospital. Young actors -students,
interns, residents- at various stages in their development as
professionals are given an opportunity to operate/heal/breathe life
into their willing, albeit nervous, patients—the audience- all the
while surrounded/taught/ influenced/protected by some very seasoned
professionals. And the beautiful thing is no one dies in the midst of
surgery…unless of course the play calls for it…which is always a
rather nice touch.”
